Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure is seeking a Quality Control Inspector for the night shift to perform on-floor quality checks and material testing on PVC pipe and fittings. You will evaluate samples, conduct tests, inspect in-process and finished products, and document findings with precision.

The role requires reading equipment manuals, lifting up to 50 lbs, and clear written and verbal communication with team members. Prior experience and a high school diploma are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent vocational training/certification.
• At least 1 year of related experience preferred.
• Ability to read and understand equipment manuals and directions.
• Effective verbal and written communication with colleagues and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates samples of incoming materials.
• Assists with and performs physical tests on plastic pipe and fittings.
• Inspects plastic pipe and fittings during production and finished stages.
• Uses saws to cut test samples.
• Distributes reports and test results as needed.
• Uses hand measurement tools (calipers, dial gauges).
• Pulls samples from the floor.
• Other duties as assigned.
