Job summary

Amcor is seeking an Inspector/Packer to efficiently package bottles from our extrusion blow molding lines, making safety a priority. The starting pay is $19.50/hr, with responsibilities including reading packing instructions, inspecting for defects, and maintaining an organized packing area.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to read and take direction in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to lift 35 pounds on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

• Make safety #1 priority
• Read packing instructions for assigned station
• Inspect plastic containers/parts for defects
• Complete daily inspection paperwork
• Pack quality parts into correct packaging
• Label and stack boxes, bags or bulk units
• Maintain an organized packing environment
• Flexible to assist line workers when time allows
• Follow plant safety rules and report violations
• Promote GMP policy and product safety
• Communicate constructively with team to achieve department goals
• Other duties as assigned
