Amcor in Syracuse, NY is hiring an Inspector Packer to help ensure product quality and smooth production in a plastics manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing, inspection, or packaging is helpful but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to spot defects quickly.
• Ability to follow written procedures, safety rules, and documentation standards.
• Basic math and counting skills for production paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Inspect plastic parts for defects and ensure only high-quality products are packaged.
• Maintain accurate production forms, labels, part counts, and documentation.
• Support continuous production by monitoring machine output and assisting operators.
• Communicate quality concerns and material shortages to the team; assist across shifts.
