Job description

Location: Allentown, PA 18109
Pay: $22/hr + 10% Shift Differential
Schedule: 2 PM - 10 PM

Essential Responsibilities:

1. Inspect machined workpieces to ensure conformance to specifications.
2. Interpret and follow written inspection instructions, quality requirements, and customer specifications.
3. Measure dimensions such as length, height, and distance between reference points using precision instruments like micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, optical comparators, X-Y-Z measuring equipment, and X-ray to ensure products meet specifications.
4. Locate reference points on parts and measure dimensions such as angles, arcs, and radii using aids like surface plates, angle plates, gauge blocks, V-blocks, and other precision measuring instruments.
5. Complete all necessary inspection forms and reports.
6. Inspect first-run, in-process, and final parts.
7. Perform airflow tests, incoming, and final inspections.
8. Perform other similar or related duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements:

1. High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
2. Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
3. Ability to lift, push, or pull at least 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
4. Ability to work occasional weekend shifts.
5. Ability to work overtime as required.
