ETE REMAN in Milwaukee, Wisconsin is seeking a Quality Technician to monitor and inspect products on the production line, ensuring they meet quality standards. You will verify processes, calibration of tools, and adherence to work instructions while maintaining a safe work environment.

As part of the quality team, you will identify non-conforming materials, escalate issues to prevent defective products, and document findings for regular reports.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience with 6L80 and 6L90 transmissions, ideally at ETE Reman.
• Must be 18 years old and maintain regular reliable attendance.
• Proficiency with basic measurement tools used on the production line.

Responsabilités

• Safety compliance and quality inspections on the production line using visual assessment and measurement tools.
• Verify calibration status of measurement tools and remove out-of-calibration equipment from service.
• Inspect products for correct labeling and identification throughout production.
• Identify, tag and segregate non-conforming products or materials.
• Escalate quality issues to the Quality Manager or production supervisor promptly.
• Document inspection results and non-conformances for regular reports.
• Audit adherence to work instructions; ensure personnel are logged into applicable systems like VKS when available.
• Collaborate with operators, maintenance staff, and quality team to address quality concerns and corrective actions.
