Job summary

Helmerich & Payne, Inc. in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Quality Technician to inspect materials and products, ensuring they meet specifications and quality standards. The role involves reading blueprints, performing non-destructive testing, and generating reports to support corrective actions.

You will collaborate on process improvements, maintain calibration of equipment, and contribute to a safe, efficient production environment. Strong attention to detail and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Familiar with API, ASME, AWS, ANSI/ASNT.
• Comfortable reading blueprints; familiar with GD&T.
• Able to use/read measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, etc).
• Good PC skills: Excel, Word, etc.
• Able to learn ERP/MRP system.
• Good written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform NDT and assist NDT Technician with tasks.
• Create NCR and DMR reports.
• Perform First Article Inspections with reports.
• Analyze raw materials and in-process materials for quality.
• Monitor testing procedures to meet specifications.
• Interpret test results and compare to control limits.
• Complete documentation for testing procedures and logs.
• Ensure equipment is calibrated, validated and safe.
• Assess methods for future improvements.
