Job summary

Knight Enterprises Management LLC is seeking a quality control inspector to support manufacturing operations in Florida. The role focuses on first piece and in-process inspections to ensure parts meet Engineering drawings and specifications.

The candidate will use CMM/PC-DMIS and various inspection tools, document results, and collaborate with shop floor personnel and Manufacturing Engineering to resolve non-conformances. A background in NC machining is required.

Qualifications

• Three years minimum experience in an NC machine manufacturing environment.
• Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) experience (PC-DMIS preferred) helpful but not required.
• Must be extremely proficient in the use of inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, Inter-mics, height gage).
• Working knowledge of MS Office products.

Responsibilities

• Perform First Piece inspections to verify part compliance to Engineering drawings prior to Production machining.
• Perform In-Process inspections to ensure continued compliance to Engineering drawings.
• Document inspection results and compile weekly reports.
• Interface with machine operators or programmers to communicate and resolve non-conformances.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing Engineering to resolve drawing, fixture or programming issues.
• Enter non-conformance data into computer systems and generate reports.
• Perform other reasonably related duties as assigned.
