Job summary

General Dynamics Electric Boat in North Kingstown, RI is seeking a Quality Inspector to support the Virginia Class and Columbia programs. You will perform inspections throughout the facility, verify welds, structures and components, and be trained in our Quality Control systems and procedures.

Successful candidates will maintain MT/PT (and possibly ET) certifications, work across shifts, and contribute to first-time quality and safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or related technical experience (2+ years).
• MT/PT/ET certifications obtainable.
• Achieve key department qualification within 6 months.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical manuals.
• Willing to work all shifts, extended days, weekends.
• Able to obtain and maintain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections of welds, structures, and components.
• Follow quality control procedures and Electric Boat instructions.
• Maintain MT/PT certifications and document results.
