The role emphasizes accurate documentation, adherence to procedures, and strict quality standards. Ideal candidates have excellent manual dexterity, experience with tweezers and microscopes, and a strong commitment to quality.

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control (QC) Inspector to join our quality team. In this role, you will perform critical visual inspections of fine inductor components and micro-assemblies to ensure they meet exact specifications. The ideal candidate has exceptional fine motor skills, experience working with small hand tools under magnification, and a strong commitment to quality documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Visual Inspection: Conduct precise visual inspections of inductor components and assemblies using microscopes, adhering strictly to established procedures, engineering drawings, and technical specifications.
• Precision Handling: Utilize tweezers and specialized hand tools to safely handle fine wire and micro-sized components without damage.
• Metrology Validation: Operate standard measurement and inspection equipment, including rulers, pin gauges, and Vernier calipers, to verify dimensional accuracy.
• Quality Documentation: Accurately record defects, non-conformances, and inspection results on required work documentation.
• Production Tracking: Log operational data, including labor time and completed piece counts, on work travelers and tracking sheets.

Qualifications & Skills

• Fine Motor Skills: Excellent hand-eye coordination and dexterity required for handling miniature, delicate components.
• Tool Proficiency: Demonstrated skill in using tweezers, microscopes, and basic mechanical metrology tools.
• Microscope Focus: Ability to maintain focus and perform accurate inspections under a microscope for extended periods.
• Instruction Interpretation: Strong capability to follow detailed written procedures, specification drawings, and verbal work instructions.
• Communication: Full proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English to ensure precise compliance with documentation.
• Teamwork: A positive attitude and the ability to collaborate effectively within a fast-paced production team.
• Experience Plus: Previous experience in QC inspection, electronic assembly, or micro-manufacturing is highly preferred.

Hourly Rate: $19 to $22 Based on experience
