Job summary

Contract Specialties Group, Ltd. seeks an Inspector/In Process Micro Inspection to perform detailed inspections of micro-electronic components and assemblies, verify conformance to drawings and MIL specs, and document results.

You will collaborate with engineers and production to resolve issues, assist in developing inspection methods, and ensure quality standards are met throughout incoming, in-process, and final inspections.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with at least 6 years of relevant experience, or a 2-year post-secondary/Associate degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to interpret tolerances and specifications on drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under magnification.
• Effective communication to coordinate with team members and other departments.
• Experience following established processes and identifying and resolving issues.

Responsibilities

• Visual inspection for workmanship and print compliance using a microscope.

• Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of components, materials, and systems.
• Document inspection results and maintain records per quality systems.
• Collaborate with engineers and production personnel to resolve discrepancies.
• Assist in developing inspection methods and procedures as required.
• Additional tasks assigned by supervisor/manager.

Job: Inspector/In Process Micro Inspection

Responsible for performing inspections on manufactured and/or purchased parts, units, materials, equipment, panel/module level assemblies and quality control programs to specifications. Interprets and verifies compliance with manufacturing/engineering drawings, diagrams, customer specifications and lists to approve or reject units, test setups, or systems for in-process or final assemblies. Inspects and may perform minor rework on defective or malfunctioning units or systems. Maintains support documentation and performs sampling and testing of incoming components, raw materials, and build of assemblies. Reviews and reports performance data. Ensure raw materials, in-process and finished products meet company and test standards. Determines or assists in determining methods and procedures necessary for inspection.
