Job summary

Piper Companies is seeking an Assembly Inspector to support the assembly of mechanical and electromechanical products. You will inspect assemblies at multiple production stages, verify torque and dimensions, and ensure compliance with drawings and standards.

You will document findings and collaborate with engineers and technicians in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should have a high school diploma and hands-on inspection experience, with GD&T knowledge and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Must have experience performing quality inspections in manufacturing, production, or assembly.
• Proficient with precision measurement tools and inspection equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Working knowledge of GD&T and traceability requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections of mechanical and electromechanical assemblies at various production stages.
• Verify torque values and critical dimensions using precision instruments.
• Apply GD&T to evaluate conformance to drawings and specs.
• Document inspection results and nonconformances clearly and accurately.
• Identify defects and escalate quality concerns to engineers and leadership.
