Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or trade school certificate in quality inspections or related field.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong communication skills to interface with all levels.
• Ability to work independently or in a team and extend hours as needed.
• Experience with ISO 9001, DOE QA and nuclear material desirable.
• Experience with CMM and FARO inspection equipment is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Inspect machined parts, components, assemblies, composites and materials to ensure compliance with standards.
• Set up and calibrate measuring equipment and maintain calibration records.
• May perform non-destructive tests as required.
• Prepare reports and records of inspections for project engineers and regulatory needs.
• Coordinate with project engineers and regulatory agencies during audits and reviews.
• Ensure compliance with military standards, ASTM, ANSI and ASME codes.
