Job summary

Texas Precision Plating (DBA DFW Anodize and Metal Finishing, LLC) in Garland, TX is seeking a Quality Inspector to verify finished parts meet drawings, PO requirements, and finishing specs while supporting AS9100/NADCAP readiness.

The role involves receiving, in-process and final inspections, coating thickness verification, and documentation. 2+ years’ experience in metal finishing or aerospace manufacturing is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of quality inspection experience in metal finishing, plating, or aerospace manufacturing (preferred).
• Ability to read blueprints, purchase orders, and finishing specifications (e.g., MIL-PRF-8625, MIL-DTL-5541, AMS 2700).
• Experience with coating thickness gauges and basic precision instruments.
• Experience with AS9100 or ISO 9001 (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspection of finished parts.

• Verify part count, identification, traveler sign-offs, and certification requirements before release.
• Identify, document, and segregate nonconforming material; communicate promptly with Quality and Production.

• Support customer complaints, root cause investigations, and corrective actions.
• Verify gauge calibration status before use.
