Job summary

Nextern is seeking a Quality Inspector to join our team. In this hands‑on role, you’ll perform incoming, in‑process, and final inspections to ensure the quality and reliability of medical device components throughout the manufacturing process.

You’ll work with a variety of inspection tools, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and support quality investigations and continuous improvement in a fast‑paced environment. Detail‑oriented candidates will grow with us at N extern.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 months in medical device manufacturing.
• Ideally 1+ year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Inspect materials and products from incoming material through final assembly to ensure specifications.
• Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections per approved specs.
• Use measurement tools to verify dimensions and product attributes and ensure calibration is current.
• Document nonconforming materials and maintain quality records per GDP.
