Job summary

Stevenson Search Partners is seeking a Quality Control Inspector for a medical device client in San Francisco, CA. The role focuses on inspecting incoming, in-process, and finished devices to ensure conformance with SOPs and specifications.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of inspection and testing experience within the medical device industry and be proficient with measurement tools such as Micrometers, Calipers, Micro-Vu, Pin Gauges, and Tensile Testers.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years of inspecting/testing components, fabricated parts, subassemblies, and finished devices in the medical device industry.
• Extensive experience using precise measuring tools (Micrometers, calipers, Micro-Vu, Pin Gauges, Tensile Testers).

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections per SOPs and specifications.
• Conduct testing/inspection activities per approved protocols.
• Coordinate calibration and preventive maintenance of inspection equipment.
• Maintain quality assurance logs and documentation.
• Adhere to quality system procedures in all work activities.

Summary: The Quality Control Inspector will be responsible for performing incoming, in-process, and finished device inspections.

Responsibilities

• Performs incoming, in-process, and final inspections of manufactured product in accordance with established SOPs, specifications, requirements, and inspection instructions.
• Performs other testing/inspection activities per approved protocol instructions.
• Coordinates calibration and preventive maintenance of equipment.
• Maintains quality assurance logs.
• Performs work in a manner that ensures compliance with quality system procedures related to work activities and responsibilities.
