Job summary

TURCK USA is seeking a Quality Inspector to perform inspection, testing, and verification of incoming raw materials, components, and customer-supplied products. You will ensure quality standards through visual, dimensional, functional, and electrical inspections and maintain quality records.

Responsibilities include First Article and Lot Inspections, goods receipt inspections, and close collaboration with Purchasing, Engineering, Production, and Warehouse teams to support quality objectives and

Qualifications

• High school diploma, vocational school certification, or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience performing mechanical and electrical inspections in a manufacturing or quality assurance environment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, and inspection standards.
• Proficiency in basic mathematics and the use of precision measuring instruments and inspection equipment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
• Ability to maintain a high level of attention to detail during inspections, data analysis, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform standardized visual, dimensional, functional, and electrical inspections on mechanical and electronic components, raw materials, and subassemblies.
• Document inspection results and maintain quality records.
• Process nonconforming materials through Material Review.
• Set up inspection fixtures and measurement systems as required.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Engineering, Production, and Warehouse to support quality objectives and resolve issues.
• Enter inspection data into the Quality Assurance database within established timelines.
