Job summary
Westinghouse Electric Company LLC in Warrendale, PA, is seeking an Inspector to perform inspections on mechanical and electrical components per drawings, specs, or established procedures. The position requires an associate degree in a technical field or equivalent, with possible substitutions for military programs.
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in a technical curriculum (or equivalent).
- Military/Naval Nuclear or similar programs may substitute for formal education.
- Must meet Westinghouse WEC 2.9 Level 1 qualification within 6 months and NRC/ANSI/ASME compliance.
Responsibilities
- Read engineering work orders and inspection procedures to determine inspection requirements.
- Follow Westinghouse Quality procedures.
- Review test data from vendors to validate accuracy.
- Inspect mechanical and electrical components/assemblies and identify defects.
- Review purchase orders to complete receipt inspection.
