Job summary

GAS Energy Staffing LLC is seeking a Quality Inspector in Lewisville, TX to inspect incoming materials, in‑process materials, and finished goods, ensuring accurate records to meet customer documentation requirements. The role requires strong attention to detail and ability to operate measurement equipment.

Responsibilities include approving materials, documenting test results, calibrating equipment, and supporting SOP updates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must pass a drug screen & criminal background check.
• Schedule: Mon–Fri, 11:00 AM–8:00 PM (often stay past 8 PM).
• Steel-toed boots required.
• Warehouse environment with varying noise, ventilation and lighting.

Responsibilities

• Approve incoming materials by confirming specs, tests, and rejecting unacceptable materials.
• Document inspection/test results in reports/logs and input data into quality database.
• Maintain controlled document files and test records accurately.
• Coordinate calibration of test equipment and fixtures.
• Monitor equipment and instrumentation to ensure proper operation and calibration.
• Contribute to SOPs for the inspection function or updates to procedures.
• Assist in writing/updating inspection procedures, protocols, and checklists.
• Evaluate problems and propose initial corrective actions to supervisor.
