Job summary

Custom Cable Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Quality Inspector in Salisbury, Maryland to monitor the quality of both incoming and outgoing products. The inspector ensures production workers adhere to customer specifications and engineering instructions, meeting quality standards.

The ideal candidate must hold IPC 620 certification and have at least 2 years of experience in a Quality Manufacturing group. Benefits include medical, dental, life insurance, a 401(k), and PTO for vacations and personal/sick time.

Qualifications

• Must be IPC 620 certified.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience within a Quality Manufacturing group.
• Ability to read and understand basic assembly engineering drawings, work instructions and customer specs.
• Intermediate working familiarity of computers to include Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Math skills, to include the ability to measure in standard and metric methods.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections on in-process materials and final assemblies.
• Perform measurements in standard and metric units.
• Verify tools encompass current calibration dates.
• Identify and segregate damaged/broken tools.
• Verify compounds and substances are within established expiration dates.
• Find, report, and disposition non-conformances.
