Job summary

Saab, Inc. is seeking a Quality Inspector to join our team. This role focuses on in-process quality inspections to ensure product quality during production, using calipers, micrometers, height gauges and other inspection tools.

You will document findings and support continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of relevant experience, strong attention to detail, and solid communication and time-management skills.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Collect and maintain related quality records.

• Identify, document, and segregate nonconforming materials.
• Assist in first article and sampling inspections, as requested.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and requirements.
• Participate in continuous improvement and root cause analysis activities, as requested.
• Assist with audits and quality system documentation, as needed.

Quality Inspector - In Process

Saab, Inc. is seeking a Quality Inspector to join our team! This role is responsible for performing quality inspections during the production process. You will work closely with the Quality and Manufacturing teams to maintain a high level of quality for our customers.

Responsibilities Include:

• Perform in-process quality inspections on product as it is being produced.
• Promptly identify, document and communicate quality concerns to appropriate personnel to minimize impact on production processes and maintain high levels of quality.
• Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, height gages, and other inspection tools.
• Collect and maintain related quality records.
• Use of a computer-based ERP system for data entry.

Compensation:

Starting hourly rate of $27.00, commensurate with experience

The compensation range provided is a general guideline.
