Job summary

MillenniumSoft Inc seeks a Quality Inspector with strong experience in incoming inspection and quality systems for a 12-month contract in Durham, NC. The role requires reading drawings, ISIR/FAI, and hands-on use of precision measuring tools.

The candidate will perform product and materials inspections at defined stages, support root-cause analysis, and collaborate with engineers to ensure conformance to specifications. This is a first-shift, on-site assignment with a 40-hour week.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or more than 5 years related experience and/or training.
• Minimum 5 years quality inspection or manufacturing experience in a relevant industry.
• ASQ certifications (e.g., CQT, QA Auditor) preferred.
• Proficient in blueprint reading and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Use diverse measuring devices, testing equipment, and SPC processes.
• Perform ISIR/First Article Inspections and conformity inspections; raise non-conformance notifications.
• Participate in continuous improvement and process improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with engineers to evaluate inspections beyond capabilities.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
• Work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Perform other duties as needed to meet business requirements.
