Job summary

Bausch + Lomb in Greenville, SC is seeking a MQA Line Inspector to perform quality inspections on finished and contract goods in accordance with cGMPs and SOPs. You will use visual and dimensional inspection methods and maintain records in QA documents.

Responsibilities include supporting manufacturing with QA decisions, investigating issues, maintaining sample inventory, and collaborating across teams to ensure product quality on 2nd shift (3:30 PM–12:00 AM).

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma required.
• 2-3 years prior manufacturing or inspection experience required.
• Prior exposure to visual and dimensional inspection required.
• Specialized Skills: Computer skills using MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook, MS Access; ERPLX and Documentum.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to work unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes statistical sampling plans to perform visual and functional inspections of contract and Greenville finished product.
• Documents all results in the QA batch record or on the Receiving Inspection Report.
• Assists in quality decisions for nonconforming products and provides QA inspection support to Manufacturing operation.
• Assists in the Investigation and documentation of process issues during production, including input to in-process quality decisions.
• Maintains retain sample inventory for all finished products.
