Job summary

Bausch + Lomb is seeking a Quality Control/Assurance professional in Tampa to ensure GMP-compliant batch records and product quality. You will monitor in-process inspections, identify nonconformances, and support cross-functional teams in documentation and compliance.

Ideal candidates have a relevant degree, QA experience, and strong attention to detail, with the ability to work independently and follow SOPs. This role aligns with our commitment to high-quality eye health products.

Qualifications

• Associates degree preferred; high school diploma required.
• Quality Control/Assurance experience preferred (not required).
• Ability to work well with people and independently.
• Be able to follow written and verbal instructions and read SOPs.
• Excellent time management and attention to detail is critical.
• Maintain QC, line clearance and visual inspection certifications.
• 3+ years of pharmaceutical/FDA regulated facility or related field required.

Responsibilities

• Follows standard operation procedures and reviews batch records to ensure GMP compliance.
• Monitor in-process inspections and proper documentation practices.
• Identify suspect material and perform segregation per instructions.
• Check batch documents for product, lot numbers, expiration dates and components.
• Performs AQL sampling and documents inspection results.
• Interacts with Materials Management, Contract Manufacturing, Engineering and Validation.
• Assist manufacturing with issuance, correction and review of batch documents.
• Assist Manufacturing team with batch record closure and yield calculations.
• Support GxP, ISO and health and safety compliance.
