Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to read a tape measure and blueprints
• Familiarity with precision measuring instruments (caliper, micrometer)
• Experience with inspection methods and quality documentation
• Knowledge of industry specs (AWS, ASTM-123, DOT)
• Computer literacy including word processing, spreadsheets, and email

Responsibilities

• Perform repetitive inspections following standard methods and procedures
• Visually inspect products using precision measuring instruments
• Check dimensions and finishes against blueprints or work orders
• Document inspection results and write formal inspection reports
• Lead root cause analysis and problem-solving discussions
• Assist production and contribute to Continuous Improvement initiatives
