Job summary

Silfex Inc., a Lam Research Company, is seeking a Quality Inspector 1 in Springfield, OH. The role focuses on inspecting parts, verifying specifications, and maintaining accurate documentation while upholding safety and quality standards.

You will receive training and work under supervision during the initial phase, with growth opportunities in our Quality Management System and lean manufacturing practices. This position is for the 6pm–6am shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0–1 year in manufacturing or QA.
• Ability to read simple instructions.
• Basic computer and software navigation skills.
• Strong attention to detail and safety mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections to ensure parts meet specifications.
• Complete documentation for inspections per work instructions.
• Operate with basic math and computer skills.
• Maintain cleanliness and order of inspection stations.
• Follow safety policies and participate in lean/5S.
• Assist in applying lean manufacturing concepts.
