Job summary

RBC Bearings Incorporated, a leading international manufacturer, is seeking an Inspector I to perform incoming/outgoing documentation inspection and basic visual checks on articles. The role requires safe work practices and basic measuring equipment usage, with documentation verification to meet standards and customer requirements.

Ideal candidates have a high school credential, ISO9001/AS9100 background, and 2+ years in manufacturing with inspection.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED is required.
Experience in ISO9001/AS9100 manufacturing environment preferred.
Minimum 2 years in manufacturing with inspection background.

Responsibilities

Ensure safety is the foundation of daily work through vigilance and accountability.
Promote Safety to all team members, customers and suppliers.
Prepares outgoing articles for inspection by retrieving required supporting documentation.
Visually inspects with limited dimensional inspection on incoming articles using basic measuring equipment.
Verify documentation to ensure compliance to requirements.
Balloon drawings for checklist completion.
Report document errors and assist in applicable corrections.
Coordinate with production and shipping to ensure on time deliveries.
Performs other duties as assigned.
