Job summary

RBC Bearings is seeking a 2nd shift inspector to perform dimensional and visual inspection of precision components using mechanical and electronic gauging. The role requires reading blueprints and verifying conformance to specifications, with attention to cracks and burn marks using magnetic particle and Nital etch lines.

Proficiency in Windows OS and MS Office is required, and lifting heavy gages with ability to stand/walk for long periods is expected.

Qualifications

• Reading and interpreting blueprints and specifications.
• Performing precision component inspection with mechanical and electronic gauging.
• Inspecting parts for cracks and burns with magnetic particle and Nital etch lines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct dimensional and visual inspections on precision components.

Job description

Visual/Floor inspection will include inspecting parts for cracks and burns in magnetic particle and Nital etch lines.

Windows Operating system and Windows Office proficiency is required.

Able to read and understand blueprints. Demonstrated ability to work well at all levels of the organization, Must be results-oriented, motivated and deal with changing priorities, Must be able to stand, walk for long periods and lift heavy gages, ANSI Standard requirements.

This is a 2nd shift position-- some weekends required.
