Job summary

Dover Food Retail in the United States (Virginia area) seeks a hands-on Quality/Manufacturing Associate to ensure incoming shipments and warehoused products meet customer specifications and company standards. You will inspect cases and parts and mentor others while coordinating with Purchasing, Final Assembly, Engineering and QA to resolve issues.

Responsibilities include data collection and charting, precise part measurements using calipers and micrometers, and supporting audits and product

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• ASQ certification(s) beneficial; electronics and mechanical systems a plus.
• 6 months related experience and/or training; equivalent education.
• Experience with measurement tools (calipers, protractors, micrometers) required.
• AS400 experience a plus.
• Willing to work overtime, weekends with little notice; flexible hours.
• Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

• Load/Product testing and audits as part of the quality assurance process.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of inventory storage locations; facilitate audits and inspections.

(Ex. Calipers, Protractors, Micrometers etc).AS400 a plus.Must be willing and able to work overtime, Saturdays and Sundays with little or no notice.Must be willing to work flexible hours.Experience in auditing process and products a must.Excellent organizational and time management skillsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to see, talk and hear.
