Job summary

Dover Food Retail is seeking an entry-level Quality Inspector to perform in-process and final product quality analyses and inspections. You will use various measuring devices and inspection tools to ensure products meet predefined specifications, while following set procedures and documenting results.

This is an entry-level, on-site role with supervised guidance. Pay ranges from $20.69 to $25.68 per hour, with eligibility for discretionary bonuses and commissions based on performance.

Interprets and evaluates the analyses in terms of accuracy and precision compared against established specifications. Identifies on-going quality issues, prevents potential production issues, and makes suggestions for improvement. Uses various measuring devices, testing equipment, predetermined methods, operations, setups and prescribed specifications to accept or reject products. May work from blueprints, diagrams, dial indicators, preset micrometers, scales, fixtures, customer specifications, drawing or inspection instructions and checklists.. A Support 1 is an entry-level position typically requiring little to no prior knowledge or experience. Responsibilities typically include: Work is routine or follows standard procedures..
