Responsibilities

  • Document and communicate test results to Quality and Production teams.
  • Maintain ISO 9001 quality records and COAs.
  • Identify nonconforming product and quarantine as needed.
  • Assist with packaging verification and weekly inventory activities.

Warren Oil Company is currently looking for Quality Inspectors at our West Memphis location.

Warren Oil Company is currently seeking a Quality Inspector to support quality operations at our grease manufacturing facility. This position will be responsible for performing quality inspections and product testing, maintaining accurate quality records, monitoring product quality, and working closely with Production to identify and address quality concerns. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, comfortable working independently, and able to accurately document and communicate quality information.

Quality Inspector Duties
  • Perform detailed first-piece inspections for assigned production lines in a timely manner.
  • Perform routine in-process and finished-product inspections to verify products meet established quality standards and specifications.
  • Perform required testing of grease products in accordance with established procedures and specifications.
  • Monitor and document grease test results and communicate results to appropriate Production and Quality personnel.
  • Make minor product or process adjustments within established specifications and authorized parameters when necessary to maintain product quality.
  • Accurately document and track all testing, adjustments, corrections, and quality-related activities.
  • Maintain required ISO 9001 quality records and documentation.
  • Gather and maintain information required for Certificates of Analysis (COAs).
  • Verify that packaging, labels, production documentation, and finished products meet established requirements.
  • Identify and quarantine nonconforming product and notify appropriate personnel when quality issues are identified.
  • Perform routine inspections throughout the facility with minimal supervision.
  • Verify first-case inspections and required production paperwork are completed accurately.
  • Assist with finished-product verification and release activities.
  • Assist with weekly inventory activities as assigned.
  • Track quality information and assist with identifying trends or recurring quality issues.
  • Communicate quality concerns and work collaboratively with Production to support timely resolution.
  • Follow all applicable company policies, procedures, safety requirements, and quality standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Quality Inspector Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Basic understanding of ISO 9001 preferred.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing, quality inspection, laboratory testing, lubricants, grease, packaging, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret information.
  • Ability to identify problems and follow established procedures to address routine quality concerns.
  • Ability to accurately document test results and other quality-related information.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with others.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities in a production environment.
  • Willingness and ability to learn established testing methods, quality procedures, and product specifications.
