Middletown, CT Area | $20–$24/hour | Contract to Hire

Are you an experienced Quality Inspector who knows your way around micrometers, calipers, gauges, blueprints, and GD&T?

We’re looking for a Precision Quality Inspector to inspect close-tolerance machined parts in a manufacturing environment. This is a hands‑on inspection role for someone who takes pride in getting the details right and knows what it takes to determine whether a part meets specification.

What You’ll Do

• Perform in-process, first-piece, and final inspections of precision‑machined components
• Inspect parts to engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T requirements
• Use micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision measuring equipment
• Verify dimensions, tolerances, and overall conformance to specifications
• Identify and document nonconforming parts and quality issues
• Record inspection results and maintain accurate quality documentation
• Work closely with machinists, production, and engineering to resolve quality concerns
• Use Microsoft Word, Excel, and basic computer systems for inspection records
