Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Quality Inspector for a first‑shift role in Amelia, OH. You will inspect materials and finished products, perform FAI and in‑process inspections, and ensure compliance with ISO/QMS procedures while maintaining meticulous quality records.

You will collaborate with production teams to identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and support calibration and inspection activities across fabrication, paint, and shipping operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in inspection and quality control within a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Proficiency with precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, tape measures).
• Familiarity with aerospace/automotive quality standards and CMM inspection techniques.
• ISO and QMS procedures adherence and documentation control.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, and measure materials and products during production and at final stages to verify quality.
• Perform First Article Inspections (FAI) and in-process inspections.
• Conduct daily walk-throughs across fabrication, paint, and shipping areas to spot check work.
• Maintain quality documentation and assist calibration/inspection systems.
• Educate production teams on quality issues and drive process improvements.
• Reconcile final inspection documentation for shipments.
