Job summary

Employmentsolutions Ny is seeking a Quality Inspector to join our client's manufacturing team in Milford, CT. 1st shift: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm with overtime.

The inspector will perform inspections of materials, components, and finished products to ensure they meet required quality standards and customer specifications. You will document results, identify nonconformances, and communicate quality issues to the Quality Supervisor and production teams.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in quality inspection or manufacturing.
• Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints.
• Familiarity with measurement tools and inspection techniques.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections on incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products according to standards.
• Use calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify dimensions.
• Document inspection results and nonconformances; report issues to QA/Supervisor.
• Ensure all materials meet quality requirements before proceeding in production or shipment.
• Assist with calibration and maintenance of inspection equipment.
• Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality issues.
