Job summary

Ultimate Staffing in the United States seeks an experienced Inspector responsible for creating and accumulating first article inspection reports, daily inspection records, and AS9100D reports, including sign-offs for first piece inspections and customer-required assemblies.

The role also involves forwarding data to final inspection and performing reverse engineering as needed, using PCMM (Verisurf 2018) and precision measuring tools to ensure metal parts meet finish and dimensional requirements.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform reverse engineering and interpret complex blueprints.
• Complete any type inspection of purchased detail parts and major assemblies.
• Use precision measuring instruments and hardness testing equipment.
• Have a thorough knowledge of all forms of different metals. Have a thorough knowledge of process engineering standards and finish requirements.
• Know arithmetic involving addition, subtraction, and conversion of fractions and decimals, and also geometry.
• Ability to perform data entry in Microsoft programs.

Responsibilities

• Create and accumulate first article inspection reports and related records.
• Prepare welding and first piece inspection sign-offs and AS9100D reports.
• Forward inspection data to final inspection per customer requirements.
• Perform reverse engineering as needed.
