Job summary

Elmet Technologies in Euclid, Ohio is seeking a Quality Inspector to verify rolled, machined, and fabricated parts meet drawings, specifications, and quality plans. You will perform first article inspections and dimensional verification to ensure products meet customer requirements and are ready for production.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Manufacturing or quality inspection experience.
• Ability to understand inspection data and relate to the part.
• Strong math skills for dimensional inspection.
• Experience using micrometers, calipers, gauges.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Read and follow technical documentation.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Perform first article inspections before full-scale manufacturing.
• Conduct dimensional, physical, and visual inspections of manufactured products.
• Use micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision tools.
• Interpret drawings, specifications, quality plans and inspection requirements.
• Accurately document inspection results and maintain quality records.
• Gather, chart, and report quality data and performance indicators.
• Work with production teams to complete inspections on schedule.
• Help ensure inspected products move to the next work center.
