Job summary

Safe-Way Door is seeking a Manufacturing Quality Inspector / Quality Technician to ensure garage doors meet quality, safety, and craftsmanship standards. The role emphasizes accuracy, attention to detail, and clear communication with Production and leadership.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of hands‑on quality inspection experience in manufacturing, with proficiency in measuring tools and reading drawings.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of hands‑on quality inspection experience preferred.
• Strong measurement tools experience.
• Ability to read drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect manufactured parts and finished products for quality and accuracy.
• Perform in-process and final inspections against established quality standards.
• Use tape measures, calipers, gauges, and other precision tools.
• Compare products against drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
• Identify defects, non‑conforming materials, and workmanship concerns.
• Document inspection findings and maintain accurate records.
• Communicate quality issues to Production and leadership.
• Partner with Production to identify and resolve quality concerns.
• Help prevent recurring defects by identifying trends and potential process issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe manufacturing environment.
