Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 1–2 years related work experience.
• Must communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units.
• Ability to use sound decision-making in routine situations.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic dimensional and visual inspection of first article, in-process, and final inspection.
• Prepares and maintains required inspection records.
• Uses measuring devices to ensure product conformance with specifications.
• Rejects defective parts and marks type of defect on parts and sheets.
• May perform plastic melt index, UV, impact testing and other materials tests.
• May generate metrics for Statistical Process Control.
