DNOW is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to ensure quality from incoming materials to finished products. You will read and interpret a range of standards, use precision tools like micrometers and calipers, and report results electronically.

Responsibilities include supporting branch QA personnel, possibly traveling to locations, and using MS Word/Excel to document tests and retrieve certified reports when required. A high school diploma and strong attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret complex specifications, standards and procedures.
• Familiarity with precision measuring tools like micrometers and calipers.
• Strong communication and numerical skills; team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret ASTM, ANSI, ASME, MSS and ISO standards relevant to purchase orders.
• Use precision measuring tools and maintain them.
• Assist in training branch QA personnel as needed; may travel to branches.
• Report results electronically using MS Word/Excel and retrieve Certified Test Reports from the internet.
