Job summary

KBR is seeking an Internal Quality representative for the Engineer Section within the Marine Corps Prepositioning Program in Jacksonville, FL. You will collect and analyze data to drive improvements in equipment readiness, maintenance quality, performance, and customer satisfaction.

You will interact with GCSS-MC, MCPIC, and eQMS, ensuring compliance with DoD policies and statements of work, while coordinating with government QA specialists.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a U.S. Government background investigation and be a U.S. citizen.
• Minimum 4 years of related work as a maintenance shop chief in USMC/Army QC or depot-level maintenance.
• Working knowledge of MCO 4790.2_, MCO P4400.150_, GCSS-MC and applicable reports; Army equivalents.
• Deep understanding of Marine Corps or Army policies, regulations, and orders.
• Knowledge of quality assurance principles and techniques.
• Understanding of maintenance management functional areas/MMO.
• Familiar with DoD publications (MCPDS) and resources.
• Proficient with standard word processing, databases, spreadsheets, and statistical software.

Responsibilities

• Conducts detailed technical inspections on Engineer equipment.
• Interpret and communicate technical manual requirements to workforce and management.
• Analyze GCSS-MC and MCPIC data to ensure equipment readiness for delivery to the customer.
• Monitor and update the eQMS database.
• Ensure customer quality complaints are answered properly and timely.
• Interpret the Statement of Work for the Engineer section.
• Serve as liaison to government QA Equipment Specialists and maintain relations with government counterparts.
• Monitor activities of personnel in the Engineer maintenance process to improve quality and customer satisfaction.
