Job summary

KBR in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Quality Inspector for the Ordnance/Heavy Equipment section to contribute to Marine Corps readiness. You will conduct detailed inspections, interpret manuals, and support the QA Manager.

The role requires a USCitizen with a Secret clearance, 4+ years of military maintenance QC experience, and knowledge of GCSS-MC, MCPIC, and MCO/Navy DoD standards. On-site with strong data analysis and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Pass a U.S. Government background check and obtain a Secret clearance.
• 4+ years in maintenance quality control in USMC/Army contexts.
• Knowledge of DoD publications and QA principles.

Responsibilities

• Conducts detailed technical inspections on ordnance equipment.
• Interpret and communicate technical manual requirements to workforce and management.
• Analyze and display GCSS-MC, and MCPIC data to ensure equipment readiness.
• Monitor and update the eQMS database.
• Ensure customer quality complaints are answered properly and timely.
• Interpret the Statement of Work for ordnance section.
• Coordinate with government QA Equipment Specialists and counterparts.
• Monitor activities of personnel in ordnance maintenance to improve quality.
