Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR in Massachusetts is seeking a Quality Inspector to ensure conformance of processes and products to customer requirements within the QMS framework.

You will inspect incoming materials, first articles, and finished products, document results, and collaborate with production to address nonconformities. The role runs Monday–Friday on-site, with pay up to $23 per hour based on experience.

Qualifications

• At least three years of experience in a quality inspector role.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and/or ISO 13485 quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming materials from vendors for approval or rejection.
• Inspect First Article items and communicate adjustments to production.
• Inspect finished products against specifications and conduct tests.
• Document inspection results in reports and database system.

Responsibilities

• Ensure process and product conformity to meet customer requirements while adhering to established QMS
• Assist with calibration and preventive maintenance programs
• Maintain documented quality records (i.e., inspection records, first article inspection, nonconforming material records) on company database system
• Inspect Incoming Materials received from vendors for approval, rejecting and returning unacceptable materials
• Inspect First Article items; communicating required adjustments to production department supervisors before final approval
• Inspect Finished Products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for re-work; confirming re-work
• Document inspection results by completing written reports and logs and by entering information into computer system database and software

Qualifications:

• At least three years previous experience in quality inspector position
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, written work instructions, blueprints, diagrams
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and/or ISO 13485 Quality System p
• Use precision measuring instruments and test equipment
• Good computer skills

Monday through Friday -7am – 3:30pm

The rate of pay is up to $23.00 an hour based on experience
