Job summary

Eaton's ES AMER ESS division is seeking an Inspector Tester C - 1st Shift (Quality) to join our team in Waukesha, WI. The hourly rate is $24.45, with core hours 7:00 am - 3:00 pm. Overtime may be required and shift premiums apply.

Responsibilities include inspecting transformers/regulators, performing dielectric and electrical tests, and ensuring conformance to quality standards. Position requires at least one year of manufacturing experience and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing experience.
• Eaton will not sponsor immigration for this position and no relocation benefit is offered.
• Candidates within 50-mile radius of the work location will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly inspection of transformers/regulators per established procedures.
• Conduct electrical testing on assembled transformers/regulators per procedures.
• Monitor conformance to quality standards throughout testing.
• Perform routine dielectric, loss, power factor, resistance, and continuity tests.
• Inspect nameplates, apply impedance values, and secure nameplates to units.
• Assist Engineering and Manufacturing in resolving shop floor problems.
