Job summary

Kelso Industries is seeking a Quality Inspector to join the team in Canton, MS. The role involves performing weld inspections, interpreting weld maps, and documenting inspections to ensure compliance with project specs and procedures.

The candidate should have AWS CWI, ASNT VT II, and/or API 510/570 certifications, plus strong knowledge of ASME/AWS/NACE codes, and be comfortable working outdoors in varied conditions while traveling as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience under a Quality Management Program.
• Extensive knowledge of reading and understanding drawings.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Create, interpret, and understand Weld Map Isometric drawings using computer software programs.
• Enter welding and inspection information into the tracking tool.
• Assist with pressure testing plans and functions.
• Assemble project documentation packages.
• Perform and document inspections based on drawings, specifications, and procedures to determine compliance.
• Test welders and perform weld inspections under various codes.
• Follow Project Quality Assurance Plans.
• Follow Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
• Assist Site Quality Manager with various daily activities as assigned.
• Maintain commitment to core values and safety policies.
