Job summary

Kelso Industries is seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to support our Canton, MS operations. The role involves inspecting welds, materials, and processes to ensure compliance with QA/QC standards, while coordinating with site leadership and project teams.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in quality control, holds AWS CWI and related certifications, and is comfortable in a field environment with travel. Join us to contribute to safe, high-quality industrial projects across multiple sectors.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of professional experience as Quality Inspector/Technician.
• Current AWS CWI, ASNT VT II, or API 510/570 certification.
• Strong knowledge of NDT methods: UT, MT, PT, RT.
• Familiarity with ASTM standards and materials.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings precisely.
• Willingness to travel and relocate as needed.

Responsibilities

• Create, interpret, and understand Weld Map Isometric drawings using software.
• Enter welding and inspection data into the tracking tool.
• Assist with pressure testing plans and functions.
• Assemble project documentation packages.
• Perform inspections based on drawings, specifications, and procedures.
• Test welders and conduct weld inspections per codes.
• Follow Project Quality Assurance Plans and ITPs.
• Assist Site Quality Manager with daily activities.
• Maintain commitment to core values and safety policies.
