Job summary

Kelso Industries is seeking a qualified Quality Inspector to join our Canton, MS team. You will inspect welds, interpret isometric drawings, and document results while ensuring compliance with project plans and industry standards.

Requirements include 4+ years in quality roles, AWS CWI or equivalent certs, NDT knowledge, and proficiency with Procore, Excel, and Word. Travel and relocation may be required, and we emphasize safety and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years as Quality Inspector/Quality Technician.
• AWS CWI, ASNT VT II, or API 510/570 certs.
• Strong knowledge of NDT methods (UT, MT, PT, RT).
• Understanding of ASTM standards and materials.
• Reading and interpreting drawings.
• Proficient with Excel, Word; Procore preferred.
• Willing to travel and relocate as needed.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Create, interpret, and understand Weld Map Isometric drawings using computer software programs.
• Enter welding and inspection information into the tracking tool.
• Assist with pressure testing plans and functions.
• Assemble project documentation packages.
• Perform and document inspections based on drawings, specifications, and procedures to determine compliance.
• Test welders and perform weld inspections under various codes.
• Follow Project Quality Assurance Plans.
• Follow Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
• Assist Site Quality Manager with daily activities as assigned.
• Maintain commitment to core values and safety policies.
