Quality Inspector - Cable & Wire Harness - Level 2 (Part‑Time 1–2 days per week)

SQA Services, Inc. offers a base pay range of $32.00/hr – $34.00/hr for this part‑time position located in Hudson, NH (1–2 days per week on an as‑needed basis).

We are seeking a skillful and detail‑oriented Cable & Harness Inspector to join our team in Hudson, NH. The role requires a strong background in cable and harness inspection, excellent attention to detail, and a dedication to delivering high‑quality work.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform first‑article, in‑process, and final inspections at one or more client suppliers in Hudson, NH and surrounding areas.
• Ensure products meet quality and specification standards.
• Verify safety wire orientation, correct turns, and pigtails as per specifications.
• Confirm shipping documentation is legible and accurate (part number, serial number, etc.).
• Check documentation packages to industry standards and classify defects.
• Interpret manufacturing drawings and identify non‑conformances.
• Periodically verify accuracy and ensure productivity to meet production schedules.
• Maintain equipment and keep the work area organized.

Required Qualifications

• Knowledge of cable and harness assembly methods.
• Familiar with IPC‑A‑620 standards.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Cable and Harness Inspector/Assembler in electronic manufacturing or related fields.
• Ability to read schematics, assembly drawings, and identify wiring components.
• Proficient in documenting Certificates of Conformance (COC).
• Strong organizational, communication, and software adaptation skills.
• Proven ability to de‑escalate workplace conflicts effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified or previously certified in IPC‑A‑620.
• Diploma or GED from an accredited high school or technical school; college degree in engineering.
• Knowledge of electronic contract manufacturing and LEAN manufacturing.
• Preferred: 5 years of experience, with 2 years as a Cable and Harness Inspector.
