Job summary

SQA Services, Inc. in Caguas, Puerto Rico, is seeking a detail-oriented Cable & Harness Inspector to join our team in a full-time role.

You will ensure products meet quality standards and verify documentation, working closely with production and quality teams in a fast-paced environment. Must have at least 3 years of experience, knowledge of cable and harness assembly methods, IPC-A-620 familiarity, and the ability to read schematics.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as Cable and Harness Inspector/Assembler in electronic manufacturing or related fields.
• Knowledge of cable and harness assembly methods.
• Familiar with IPC-A-620 standards.
• Proficient in documenting Certificates of Conformance (COC).
• Strong organizational, communication, and software adaptation skills.
• Bilingual English and Spanish; read/write.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced work environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure products meet quality and specification standards.
• Verify safety wire orientation, correct turns, and pigtails as per specifications.
• Confirm shipping documentation is legible and accurate (part number, serial number, etc).
• Check documentation packages to industry standards and classify defects.
• Interpret manufacturing drawings and identify non-conformances.
• Periodically verify accuracy and ensure productivity to meet production schedules.
• Maintain equipment and keep the work area organized.

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cable & Harness Inspector to join our team in Caguas Puerto Rico. This is a full-time position.

Must have flexibility to work OT and weekends if needed.

Required Qualifications

• Proficient in documenting Certificates of Conformance (COC)
• Strong organizational, communication, and software adaptation skills
• Proven ability to de-escalate workplace conflicts effectively
• Bilingual English and Spanish must be able to read and write
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced work environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified or previously certified in IPC-A-620 is a plus but not required
• Diploma or GED from an accredited high school or technical school; college degree in engineering
• Knowledge of electronic contract manufacturing and LEAN manufacturing
• Preferred: 5 years of experience, with 2 years as a Cable and Harness Inspector
