New Hampshire Ball Bearings, Inc is seeking an Inspector to ensure quality of bearing processes and products in an assigned area. Responsibilities include dimensional inspection with precision tools, reading drawings, and documenting results.

The role requires a HS diploma or GED and 2+ years manufacturing experience. Work may involve standing, lifting up to 40 lbs, and communicating with cross-functional teams in a plant setting.

Qualifications

• Perform dimensional inspection using mechanical and visual inspection equipment.
• Measure bearing assemblies and features such as roundness, concentricity, perpendicularity, and surface finish.
• Complete basic control charts, run charts, and histograms.
• Read drawings, specifications and procedures; write inspection rejection reports.
• Perform visual inspection of bearing components with microscope.
• Communicate with Manufacturing & Quality personnel as needed.

Responsabilités

• Inspect with optical and hand tools; record results and draft rejection reports.
• Read and interpret drawings and maintain inspection records.
• Perform visual inspection of bearing components using microscope and unaided eye.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing and Quality teams to address quality issues.
