Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking an Inspector B to support the Subarray department in Linthicum, Maryland. The role focuses on determining product compliance through process monitoring and inspections of purchased and manufactured components for development and production programs.

Primary duties include setting up inspection tools, taking precise measurements, recording deviations, and performing both first article and final inspections.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or recognized equivalent.
• Must be able to pass a validated Inspector B Test.

Responsibilities

• Determine and utilize inspection procedures, set-up necessary inspection tools and equipment where fixtures are not provided such as measuring microscope and other precision instruments.
• Perform first piece, patrol, sampling, PCA and final inspection on electro-mechanical assemblies and complex micro-circuit assemblies.
• Inspect shipments and shipping paperwork to applicable specifications and sign to verify acceptance by Quality Control.
• Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and orderly condition and maintain records of equipment calibrated.
