Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Quality Inspector in Orange, CA, to perform diversified inspections on aerospace and commercial parts using engineering drawings, process specs, and customer documents. You will verify parts through the full inspection lifecycle with emphasis on GD&T and first article to final inspection in a fast-paced shop.

Join a team of five inspectors in a loud, industrial environment with steel-toed shoes required.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with first article to final inspection.
• Proficient in reading complex engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Detail-oriented with strong precision.
• Familiarity with AMS & MIL standards is an advantage.
• Mass production/machine shop background is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform diversified inspection work on aerospace and commercial parts.
• Verify purchased parts, assemblies, and final deliverables using drawings, process specs, and customer docs.
• Inspect raw material, mechanical, electrical, or electro-mechanical products for conformity to requirements.
• Exercise judgment based on knowledge, performance specs and drawings.
